Our Story
Founded in 2024 by Matt, a Sydney side local, as a passion project with a mission: to be an example that will change the food industry for the better, producing products with zero reliance on overly processed or chemically derived ingredients, with an emphasis on being 100% natural.
Our Mission
To produce the highest quality freeze-dried fruit on the market. We aim to source the majority of our produce directly from Australian farmers and ensure that all of our products are ethically crafted.

About Freeze-drying
What is Freeze-Drying?
Freeze-drying is a gentle preservation method that removes water from fresh food by freezing it, then using low pressure to turn ice directly into vapor. This process keeps the food’s natural structure, flavor, and nutrients largely intact, without the need for additives or preservatives.

Nutritional Benefits
Freeze-dried fruit retains most of its original vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, making it a nutrient-dense option. With only the water removed, it delivers concentrated natural flavor and nutrition in a lightweight, shelf-stable form. It’s a convenient way to enjoy real fruit year-round, with no added sugar or artificial ingredients.
Conservation
Our team at the Quokka Food Company values the preservation of our native wildlife in Australia and the rest of the world.
However, in our mission to make a difference in environmental conservation, we are aiming to partner with various grassroots foundations and researchers whose goal is to save Australia's most at-risk species from extinction.
In this endeavour, we intend to actively donate 10% of all profits from our wildlife-themed products. This will go to assist those who are most passionate in preserving our wildlife.
